Europäische Arzneimittelbehörde wird aufgehübscht
Vor einem Monat, am 8. Dezember, hat die Europäiscjhe Arzneimittelagentur fast unbemerkt von der Fachöffentlichkeit eine neue visuelle Identität bekommen.
Die Renovierung umfasst nicht nur das Logo, sondern die Behörde ist schon unter der neuen URL ema.europa.eu im Internet und als Teil der E-Mail-Adressen hinter dem @ zu erreichen und bald auch mit neuem Auftritt. Sie will auch nicht mehr “EMEA” ganannt und abgekürzt werden, aber auch nicht “EMA”. Am liebsten hätten die Arzneimittelkontrolleure, nur noch unter dem vollen Namen “European Medicines Agency” in den Medien und in Dokumenten aufzutauchen.
Neben dem Anstrich soll sich auch innen einiges verändern. In der neuen Organisationsstruktur tragen die für Humanarzneimittel verantwortlichen Abteilungen nun den Titel “Human Medicines Development and Evaluation” – vorher “Pre-authorisation Unit” – und “Patient Health Protection’ – vorher “Post-authorisation Unit”.
Genau wie der neue Claim: “Science. Medicines. Health.” soll das alles mehr Klarheit in der Kommunikation nach aussen bringen. Die ebenfalls versprochene mehr an Verantwortung, Effizienz und Effektivität wird sich zeigen.
