Immediately after the final decision, the SEK (Social-Enforcement-Commando) received their marching order. Armed and dressed up in their finest uniforms, the SEK got on the mission to deliver the prizes.
Target #1: Björn Kasper, marketing and communication executive of the Clinics „Essen-Mitte“
The clinics swept the jury of six with the campaign „GlückSpender – Cookies for Care“ off their feet. Facebook-Users got the chance to get their wishes baked into fortune cookies and sent to cancer patients. „The campaign was meant to connect digital and real world.“ – and how it did!
Target #2: Nils Pawlik, one of the team leaders behind the project „Mehr Geld für Pflegekräfte“
On their own initiative, the team set up a facebook page calling for more money for carers and encouraging them to fight for their interests. Within 3 months the page reached more than 63.000 likes. The commitment was rewarded with plenty of online-votes as well as the crowd-cup.
Instead of an old-fashioned trophy both winners received a first-aid kit, representing the recovery of social media communication in health care.
Congratulations to both winners! We are happy to see the liaison of social media and health care being resurrected.
