Science-Fiction bedeutet, wenn man es wörtlich übersetzt, Wissenschafts-Roman. Sieht man sich die Bestseller bei Amazon in dieser Kategorie an, dann ist davon aber nicht viel zu sehen. An der Spitze wechseln sich die Bücher aus der Reihe „Die Bestimmung“ ab, in denen es um die Rebellion Jugendlicher gegen ein vorgeprägtes Rollenbild geht. 2. Heidelberg Laureate Forum – Eindrücke
Thomas Vogt, Teilnehmer am hlf14: Diese Woche findet das 2. Heidelberg Laureate Forum (HLF) statt. Das bedeutet: die HLF-Stiftung (HLFF) lädt die Laureaten der top Mathematik- und Informatik-Preise ein – Fields-Medaillist_innen, Abel-Preisträger_innen und Träger_innen des Turing-Awards. Diese werden dann in den folgenden Tagen – wie beim Lindauer Nobelpreisträgertreffen – mit etwa hundert handverlesenen Nachwuchswissenschaftler_innen einschlägiger Disziplinen zum fachlichen Austausch zusammengebracht. Intensiv(e/-) Impressionen
Der Polytrauma-Pieper reißt uns mit seinem hysterischen Gefiepe aus unserer täglichen eigentlich-ist-doch-grad-alles-ganz-entspannt-Routine. Wir sind natürlich voll belegt, wie immer.
