In dem Artikel „Verschreibungspflichtig“ berichtet Julia Friedrichs, wie Medikamente immer teurer werden und welche Abwägungen damit einhergehen werden. Von Therapien, die pro Behandlung (!=Dosis) über 50.000 Euro kosten, ist dort die Rede. Und ja, diese Therapien gibt es bereits, sie werden eingesetzt, meist noch in Studien. Friedrichs erklärt, dass es bald dazu kommen wird, dass wir vor Behandlungen abwägen müssen für welchen Patienten sich eine Behandlung noch lohnt, da ansonsten das Gesundheitssystem unter der finanziellen Last zusammen brechen würde. Warum nehmen die Golfstaaten kaum Flüchtlinge auf? Von Ölreichtum und Kälte
Ob in Europa, im Nahen oder Mittleren Osten – gerade auch Muslime sprechen mich auf einen schmerzhaften Widerspruch in der derzeitigen Weltpolitik an. Während einige mehrheitlich islamisch geprägte Staaten wie die Türkei, Jordanien oder der Libanon Millionen von Bürgerkriegsflüchtlingen aufnehmen – schlagen sich ausgerechnet die “Eliten” der reichen, arabisch-islamischen Ölstaaten in die Büsche. Zwar spenden sie Geld an Hilfsorganisationen und diverse, islamisch geprägte Rebellenfraktionen, doch nehmen sie kaum Flüchtlinge aus den Bürgerkriegsregionen bei sich auf. Für Empörung sorgt so beispielsweise das Statement des kuwaitischen Funktionärs und “Researchers” Fahid Al Shalami, der erklärte, die Golfstaaten seien eben “nicht für Flüchtlinge, sondern für Arbeiter” geeignet, für Fliehende “zu teuer” und außerdem ungeeignet zur Aufnahme von Menschen “mit einer anderen Kultur” und mit “psychologischen Problemen und Trauma” (vgl. den sehr hörenswerten Braincast von Arvid Leyh). Und wir stellen fest: Arabische Rassisten formulieren ganz genau die gleichen, menschenverachtenden “Argumente” wie ihre europäischen Pendants, um ihre menschliche Kälte und Empathielosigkeit zu rechtfertigen. Das “Problem” ist nur: In Kuwait regieren diese Leute – und zwar nach der Invasion des Irak und dem zweiten Golfkrieg von 1991 wiedereingesetzt von westlichen Truppen! Und schon damals hatte sich das fundamentalistisch-religiöse Regime unmittelbar nach der “Befreiung” bei den palästinensischen Gastarbeitern für “mangelnde Loyalität” revanchiert, indem es knapp eine halbe Millionen Menschen innerhalb weniger Tage aus dem Lande wies – eine bis dahin beispiellose, ethnische Säuberung unter “arabischen Brüdern”!
