Krankenkassen und niedergelassene Ärzte verhindern bessere Versorgung alter Menschen
Zur gestrigen Schiedsstellenentscheidung über geriatrische Ambulanzen an Krankenhäusern erklärt Georg Baum, Hauptgeschäftsführer der Deutschen Krankenhausgesellschaft (DKG): „Es ist unverständlich und nahezu unerträglich, wie Kassenärztliche Bundesvereinigung und GKV-Spitzenverband die qualifizierte ambulante Versorgung für ältere Patienten mit Bewegungsstörungen, Altersschwindel, Demenz oder Inkontinenz systematisch ausbremsen. Die eigens zur Verbesserung der Behandlungsmöglichkeiten dieser Patienten in der vergangenen Legislaturperiode geschaffenen gesetzlichen Regelungen (§ 118a SGB V) zur Zulassung der Krankenhausambulanzen werden damit schlichtweg ignoriert. Während der Gesetzgeber will, dass die spezialisierten Behandlungskompetenzen der Krankenhausambulanzen zur direkten Versorgung der Patienten genutzt werden, sieht der gestrige Beschluss vor, dass die Ambulanzen der Krankenhäuser nur Behandlungskonzepte für niedergelassene Ärzte erstellen dürfen und die konkrete Behandlung geriatrischer Patienten dann ausschließlich von niedergelassenen Ärzten durchgeführt werden darf. Den spezialisierten geriatrischen Institutsambulanzen der Krankenhäuser wird die ambulante Behandlung nicht einmal im Ausnahmefall erlaubt. Hier ist jetzt der Gesetzgeber gefordert, die Zulassung der Krankenhäuser direkt aus dem Gesetz heraus festzulegen.“ Pressemitteilung der Deutschen Krankenhausgesellschaft e.V.

Einheitliche Gebührenordnung: Keine Honorarangleichung zulasten der gesetzlichen Krankenversicherung
„Die unterschiedlichen Wartezeiten auf einen Arzttermin von gesetzlich- und privatversicherten Patienten zu beenden, wäre ein echter Fortschritt. Wenn einheitliche Honorierung bedeutet, dass die gesetzlichen Krankenkassen mehr bezahlen und die privaten Krankenversicherungen weniger, dann lehnen wir das ab. Wir versorgen 90 Prozent der Bevölkerung und haben 2016 im Durchschnitt rund 380.000 Euro an jede Arztpraxis gezahlt, obwohl die zusätzlich auch noch Privatversicherte behandeln. Es gibt keinen sachlichen Grund, dass die gesetzlichen Krankenkassen über die jährlichen Honorarsteigerungen hinaus noch mehr Geld an die niedergelassenen Ärzte bezahlen sollten“, so Johann-Magnus v.
