Lieber einen Arzt, der mit Apps arbeitet?
Die Patienten in den USA haben eine klare Präferenz: Sie würden einen Arzt bevorzugen, der seinen Patienten im Behandlungsprozess eine App anbietet – das sagen 59 Prozent der über 2025 befragten erwachsenen US Verbraucher, von denen 1.736 in hausärztlicher Betreuung sind (1). Wenn Patienten Behandlungs- und Beratungsleistungen eines Arztes auch virtuell nutzen können, ist das für fast die Hälfte (47%) der Befragten ein Pluspunkt, ebenso wenn der Arzt die Trackingdaten aus Wearables seiner Patienten in Therapieentscheidungen mit einbezieht (38%). Hier gibt es deutliche Unterschiede abängig vom Alter der Befragten, d. h. für die Hälfte (50 %) der 18 bis 35 Jährigen ist das ein positives Auswahlkriterium, bei den Baby Boomern (55 Jahre und älter) nur für jeden Dritten (29%).
Über alle Altersgruppen betrachtet, besitzt jeder Dritte ein sog. Wearable (27%), etwa die Hälfte (55%) nutzt dies täglich. Die große Mehrheit würde dem Arzt Zugriff auf diese Daten geben (78%). Ein Wearable ihrer Krankenkasse würde die Hälfte der Befragten nutzen, um im Gegenzug für ihre Daten niedrigere Versicherungsbeiträge bezahlen zu müssen.
Wie viele Befragten zeichen Daten auf, und wofür?
Hier die Ergebnisse nach Alterskategorien: 18 bis 35 Jahre, 35-54 Jahre, Älter als 55 Jahre
- Besitzen ein Tracking Tool (Wearable): 39%, 26%, 20%
- Nutzen dies im Fitness-Kontext: 27%, 20% 13%
- Nutzen dies zum Krankheitsmanagement: 7%, 6%, 4%
Blick nach Deutschland: Nach einer repräsentativen Umfrage unter 1.236 Personen von Bitkom Research nutzen derzeit 31 % der Bundesbürger ab 14 Jahren so genannte Fitness-Tracker zur Aufzeichnung von Gesundheitswerten (2).
