Ausgewogene Wissenschaftssendungen oder “von Männern für Männer”?
In diesem Artikel im Telegraph lässt Sue Nelson die wichtigsten britischen Wissenschaftssendungen Revue passieren, und kommt zu dem Schluss, dass sie (ungewollt) das Bild “von Männern, für Männer” transportieren, nicht zuletzt, weil dort immer die gleichen (männlichen) Moderatoren auftauchen. Das fand ich interessant, weil ich beim Nachdenken über die Gleichbehandlung und Chancengleichheit in der Wissenschaft zwar durchaus die Frage nach weiblichen Vorbildern in der Wissenschaft auf dem Schirm hatte; dass die Präsentation von populärer Wissenschaft da ähnlich wirkungsvolle Signale aussendet… weiter
