Review: Ingenieur des Universums
Geburtstag von Caroline Herschel; trotzdem: “Albert Einstein, Ingenieur des Universums” unter diesem Titel ist vor zehn Jahren ein Buch (zur Ausstellung) erschienen, dessen Untertitel das Programm angibt: “hundert Autoren für Einstein” schrieben damals anlässlich hundert Jahren “anno mirabilis” unter der Herausgeberschaft von Jürgen Renn ein Buch über diesen Teil des Revolution der Physik im 20. Jahrhundert. Dieses Jahr feiern wir wiederum 100 Jahre, allerdings erst im November: 100 Jahre Allgemeine Relativitätstheorie. Bis November ist es freilich noch ein gutes halbes… weiter
Philae ist wieder wach!
Ich hatte es ja kaum noch zu hoffen gewagt, aber Philae, der kleine Lander auf dem Kometen P67, ist gestern abend tatsächlich wieder aufgewacht und funkt wieder an die Erde. Mitte November 2014 war Philaes Landung auf dem Kometen nicht ganz planmäßig verlaufen. Infolgedessen lag er an unbekannter Stelle, offenbar zwischen Felsen, so dass er nicht optimal mit Sonnenenergie versorgt wurde.
