In dieser Woche 159 Patientenkontakte und 12 Terminausfälle. Ich habe erst in 12-16 Wochen wieder freie Termine. Die Praxis ist nach wie vor völlig überfüllt und gleichzeitig ist die Zahl der Anfragen per Telefon, SMS, Fax und Mail exponentiell angestiegen. Es kann also sein, dass ich ein paar Tage brauche, um alles abzuarbeiten.
Als es Mittwoch regnete und die Wupper langsam anschwoll fürchtete ich, der Keller könnte absaufen. Aber es ist nichts passiert. MOSS – Mit einer App depressive Verstimmungen erkennen und Betroffenen helfen
Forschende des UniversitätsSpitals Zürich haben in Zusammenarbeit mit der ETH Zürich, der Universität St. Gallen und der makora AG eine App zur Früherkennung von Depressionen entwickelt. Betroffene werden damit mobil, alltagsnah und mit individuellen Verhaltensempfehlungen unterstützt.
Depressionen beginnen oft schleichend, das frühzeitige Erkennen erster Symptome ist jedoch für den Verlauf der Krankheit entscheidend. An diesem Punkt setzte das Entwicklerteam der MOSS App um die Psychiaterin Dr. Steffi Weidt (UniversitätsSpital Zürich) und Prof. Elgar Fleisch (ETH Zürich und Universität St. Gallen) an. Ziel der App ist es, eine beginnende Depression frühzeitig zu erkennen und individuelle Verhaltensempfehlungen zu geben, um die Depression abzuschwächen oder sogar zu vermeiden. MOSS wurde in Kooperation mit der ETH Zürich, der Universität St. Gallen (HSG) und der makora AG entwickelt und wird von der Kommission für Technologie und Innovation (KTI) finanziell unterstützt.
