Begeistert von Jeanne Hersch – und damit alleine?
Zu den mich am meisten bewegendsten Entdeckungen der Lese- und Schreibpause nach “Religion und Demografie” gehört die Schweizer Philosophin Jeanne Hersch (1910 – 2000), wie Hannah Arendt eine Schülerin von Karl Jaspers (1883 – 1969), u.a. der Entdecker der sog. “Achsenzeit”. Während aber Hannah Arendt weltweit berühmt wurde, erreichte Hersch noch nicht die Bekanntheit, die ihr meines Erachtens zustehen sollte. Ziemlich anstrengend war der Tag heute. Mit Reisebus und Viehtransportern ging es von Kathmandu aus weiter nach Nyalam, wo wir bereits unsere Pension aufgesucht haben.
