Wissenschaftskommunikation unter sozialmedialen Bedingungen (Teil 2)
Danke für die lebhafte und konstruktive Diskussion zu meinem ersten Beitrag – so kann es gerne weitergehen! Ich hatte als “Vorgucker” ja bereits angedeutet, mich in Beitrag 2 und 3 (von vermutlich insgesamt 4) mit der Rolle von sozialen Medien als Intermediäre der Wissenschaftskommunikation zu befassen. Was meine ich mit “Intermediär” im Zusammenhang mit sozialen Medien? Diejenigen sozialmedialen Angebote, die verschiedene “Kanäle” bündeln, ohne auf bestimmte Inhalte oder Präsentationsformen festgelegt zu sein. Facebook ist also ein Intermediär, dessen “Kanäle” die vielen einzelnen Profile und Pages sind; Twitter ist ein Intermediär mit den einzelnen Accounts als Kanälen, und auch scilogs.de ist ein Intermediär, der viele einzelne Science Blogs bündelt. Ein Intermediär generiert also selbst keine eigenen Inhalte, stellt aber die Voraussetzungen zur Verfügung, dass andere diese verbreiten bzw. auffinden können. [1]
Lohnt sich Mühe überhaupt?
Von allen Seiten wird gefordert, dass sich Hausärzte ganzheitlich um ihre Patientinnen und Patienten bemühen. Das habe ich immer versucht: Wenn die Zeit es hergab, habe ich mit ihnen auch über ihre privaten Sorgen gesprochen. Dass dies (seit der Abschaffung der Psychosomatikziffern) nicht bezahlt wird, wissen wir ja, aber mir schien es wichtig.

es war nicht das Datum der ersten wissenschaftlichen Publikation. Aber heute vor genau 100 Jahren hielt Albert Einstein einen Vortrag in der Archenhold-Sternwarte in Berlin. Für diesen Vortrag hatte ihn der befreundete Kollegen Friedrich Archenhold gewonnen, da Einstein damals gerade in Berlin wohnte und an der Humboldt-Universität lehrte und arbeitete. Die Sternwarte von Archenhold in Treptow lag damals noch vor den Toren der Stadt.
