aycan to participate at ECR 2015 Multimedia Classroom

At ECR 2015 in Vienna aycan will participate again in the Multimedia Classroom.

Due to its remarkable success at ECR 2014, the Multimedia Classroom will take place again at ECR 2015. In this classroom, participants get a chance to solve cases on workstations supplied by several different companies.

2D and 3D image review and processing at the workstation are essential steps in
the radiological workflow,which lead to the final diagnosis and report. Every Radiologists must be trained in this task.

2015 Aim:
The aim is to provide direct (doctor-to-doctor) training on the workstation for the interpretation of cases in CT Angiography, MDCT in trauma, Cardiac CT and oncologic imaging.
The multimedia classroom is composed of 30-40 workstations, one station on the podium for each vendor and a high-resolution projector for the case review during the course.
Each course takes place two times and lasts 90 minutes: 10 minutes for the chairman’s introduction, 20 minutes to get familiar with the workstations and 60 minutes for the doctor-to-doctor training.

Visit aycan at ECR 2014 in Vienna

From 6th to 10th March 2014 the European Congress of Radiology (ECR), organized by the European Society of Radiology (ESR), will be held again in Vienna. Visitors are travelling from all around the world to visit Europe’s biggest medical imaging meeting with its accompanying exhibition, numerous lectures and seminars.

The turnkey workstation with FDA 510(k) approval, CE marking and full integration-service and customer support offers conventional, multi-slice and other image reading support. While aycan is providing its 64-bit DICOM PACS workstation in different package versions, users get to use a specially optimized workstation for specific areas, such as Oncology or Vascular Surgery. Each package version is characterized by certain plug-ins, which are precisely matched to the appropriate area.

aycan mobile on stage at AppCircus on Health with Medica

aycan submitted it’s iPad app aycan mobile to the upcoming AppCircus event at Medica 2013. AppCircus is open and free to developers, startups and any organization with apps on any platform, giving a great chance to present their apps live on stage.

aycan mobile is an iPad app to display medical images. It has received FDA clearance and CE label as a medical device.

Update: aycan mobile has been selected to present live on stage, together with 9 other presenters.
